Tumblebugs will be in direct competition with Nintendo's Magnetica Twist on the service which released earlier this summer. 'We are strong believers in console based casual games,' claimed Prakash Ahuja, CEO of Gameshastra. The game will feature the shoot-to-match three gameplay found in that style of game and will probably also include the variety of bug-themed powerups featured in its PC iterations. The game will resemble the second Tumblebugs PC title, which also closely resembled the casual title Zuma. The title is not due for a traditional Wii release but will instead be available for download through the WiiWare service. Last month, in a somewhat silent fashion, Hyderabad and Gameshastra announced an agreement to develop a Wii version of the extremely popular Tumblebugs franchise.
